Meia Alma - Half Soul

No meu projeto retratei a ideia do desconhecido, da procura de identidade, refugiando-me assim numa realidade que pode ser mudada, tentando apagar tudo o que destrói o equilíbrio da mesma. As imagens reforçam a ideia de não sermos vistos e de sermos apagados, a única coisa que nos consegue identificar é aquilo que vestimos ou o espaço envolvente, tornando-o ideias muito superficiais. Não tendo identidade podemos fugir da nossa realidade e viajar para uma em que vivemos do sonho, do mistério, do enigma, do inusitado reforçando as ideias surrealistas, inspirando o pintor René Magritte e a sua obra. Meia alma é uma tentativa de recuperar o que perdi ou deixei escapar. Meia alma é o espelho da minha memória e da minha essência. Uma essência fragmentada. Nisso trabalhei com os jogos da luz, da sombra e da contra-luz.

In my project I portrayed the idea of the unknown, of the search for identity, thus taking refuge in a reality that can be changed, trying to erase everything that destroys the balance of it. The images reinforce the idea of not being seen and of being erased, the only thing that can identify us is that what we have worn or the surrounding space, making it very superficial ideas. Having no identity we can escape from our reality and travel to one in which we live from the dream, the mystery, the enigma, the unusual reinforcing the surrealist ideas, inspiring the painter René Magritte and his work. Half soul is an attempt to recover what I have lost or let slip away. Half soul is the mirror of my memory and my essence. A fragmented essence. In this I worked with the games of light, the shadow and the counter-light.
