The Nature of Objects - A Natureza dos Objetos
In the project I explored the surrealist artistic movement together with the concept of "site specific" in what I called "A Natureza dos Objetos". My project is part of metaphysics, the world of the concrete and the real that is confused with the world of the imaginary. In fact, imagination becomes an active and essential part in the approximation of disparate and unrelated objects. To get closer to the concept, I had to define and mark the places. The frame that is part of the compositional elements of the image serves as a "mirror" thus defining the place, as a background that absorbs the elements, making my essay "site specific".
No projeto explorei o movimento artístico surrealista juntamente com o conceito de "site specific" no que chamei de "A Natureza dos Objetos". O meu projeto faz parte da metafísica, do mundo do concreto e do real que se confunde com o mundo do imaginário. De facto, a imaginação torna-se uma parte ativa e essencial na aproximação de objetos díspares e não relacionados. Para me aproximar do conceito, tive que definir e marcar os lugares. O quadro que faz parte dos elementos composicionais da imagem serve como um "espelho" definindo assim o lugar, como um fundo que absorve os elementos, tornando o meu ensaio "site specific".
